Sesquicentennial State Park is a state park in the Sandhills region of South Carolina. Historic Sesquicentennial State Park, affectionately known to locals as "Sesqui," is a spacious, green getaway in the heart of the Sandhills region. Sesqui was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the Great Depression and given to the City of Columbia on Columbia's 150th birthday...hence the name Sesquicentennial State Park.
